Q-Autos has officially introduced Chinese automobile brand Kaiyi to the Pakistani market during a launch event held in Lahore. The company unveiled several EVs, marking another step in the growing adoption of electric mobility in the country.
Among the newly launched models is the Kaiyi X3 Pro EV, an electric crossover vehicle that offers a claimed driving range of up to 401 kilometres on a single charge. The model has been introduced with a price tag of Rs. 7.49 million. The company is also offering a discounted introductory price for early customers.
Q-Autos additionally launched two variants of the Kaiyi e-Qute 04 hatchback. The electric hatchback comes with different battery options, providing driving ranges of 300 kilometres and 400 kilometres depending on the variant selected. Prices for the e-Qute 04 begin at Rs. 3.99 million, making it one of the more affordable EV options introduced in Pakistan.
Company officials shared plans to expand operations in the future, including the possibility of CKD (Completely Knocked Down) assembly in Pakistan. Local assembly could help lower production costs and strengthen the company’s presence in the country’s automobile sector.
During the event, Q-Autos also hinted at the future arrival of the Kaiyi X7 Hybrid SUV, which is expected to join the Pakistani market later.
The launch reflects increasing interest in electric and hybrid vehicles in Pakistan as automakers continue exploring cleaner transportation options. Industry observers believe more EV introductions could improve competition and offer consumers wider choices in the evolving automobile market.
