Goodbye Alto? New EV with 300km Range Launched in Pakistan Under Rs.4 Million

China’s Kaiyi has officially introduced the E04 electric hatchback in Pakistan, expanding the country’s growing electric vehicle (EV) market with one of its most affordable offerings.

Priced at under Rs. 4 million, the new EV is designed to make electric mobility more accessible to a wider range of consumers. The company claims the hatchback can travel up to 300 kilometres on a single charge, making it a practical choice for everyday urban commuting.

The Kaiyi E04 features a compact and modern design, making it well-suited for navigating busy city roads. Inside, the hatchback offers a contemporary cabin equipped with essential comfort and convenience features aimed at meeting the needs of budget-conscious buyers.

The vehicle has been positioned as an economical alternative to conventional fuel-powered cars, helping owners reduce running costs while benefiting from lower maintenance requirements.

Kaiyi has also indicated that a higher-range version of the E04 is expected to arrive in the future, providing customers with an option better suited for longer journeys.

The launch comes as Pakistan’s electric vehicle sector continues to gain momentum, with increasing consumer interest in environmentally friendly transportation and rising demand for affordable EVs. The introduction of the Kaiyi E04 is expected to further strengthen competition in the local market while offering buyers another cost-effective option for cleaner and more sustainable mobility.
