The Kennan Institute has officially announced applications for its Digital Fellowship 2026–2027, inviting scholars, researchers, policy experts, journalists, and professionals from around the world to apply for the prestigious six-month virtual program. The fellowship is designed to support high-quality research while fostering international collaboration and policy discussions on issues related to Eastern Europe, Eurasia, and other topics aligned with the institute’s mission. Applications will remain open until August 14, 2026.
Financial Support and Professional Benefits
Selected fellows will receive a monthly stipend of $2,000 throughout the six-month fellowship, helping them focus on their research without financial constraints. In addition to the stipend, participants will gain access to expert mentorship, virtual seminars, networking opportunities with leading scholars and policymakers, publication opportunities, and the Kennan Institute’s extensive international academic community.
Program to Be Conducted Entirely Online
The Digital Fellowship will run from October 2026 through March 2027 in a fully virtual format, allowing participants from different countries to collaborate remotely.
