Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani has expressed concern over the first reported emergency siren in Makkah Mukarramah, describing the development as a serious warning for the Muslim Ummah.
In a post on X, he condemned attacks on Saudi Arabia amid the ongoing regional tensions and described the situation as deeply alarming.
He said the activation of an emergency siren in the holy city should not be viewed as an ordinary development.
Mufti Taqi Usmani also criticised what he characterised as the United States’ limited support for Saudi Arabia, linking Washington’s position to what he described as its long-standing policies toward the Muslim world.
His comments come as regional tensions remain elevated, with security developments continuing to draw international attention.
