‘Iran Att@cks on Saudi Arabia areits ‘Red Line’, If Saudi Calls us in we will Stand by them’ Pakistan ReportedlyW@rns Iran

Pakistan has reportedly informed Iran that any attack carried out by the Houthi movement against Saudi Arabia would be considered an attack on Pakistan under the mutual defence understanding between Islamabad and Riyadh.

According to Pakistani officials, this message has been communicated through high-level diplomatic channels as part of Islamabad’s ongoing efforts to prevent further regional escalation while encouraging dialogue and peaceful solutions.

Pakistan has consistently emphasized the importance of diplomacy and de-escalation to maintain stability across the Middle East.

Officials also expressed concern that a wider conflict could disrupt critical Red Sea shipping routes, affect global trade, and threaten energy supplies, creating broader economic consequences for the region and beyond.

Pakistan believes that preserving maritime security and regional peace is essential for international economic stability.

While Islamabad continues to support diplomatic engagement and mediation to reduce tensions, officials reiterated that Pakistan remains committed to its longstanding strategic relationship with Saudi Arabia and would stand by the Kingdom if its security or territorial integrity were directly threatened.
