PM Shehbaz Sharif Offers Prayers at Roza-e-Rasool in Madinah

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Madinah during his ongoing visit to Saudi Arabia and visited Masjid-e-Nabawi (PBUH) along with members of the Pakistani delegation.

During his visit, the prime minister offered Nawafil at Riyaz-ul-Jannah and had the honour of visiting Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH) to pay his respects. He also offered special prayers for the peace, progress and prosperity of Pakistan and for the well-being of the country’s people.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi. The delegation visited the holy site as part of the prime minister’s ongoing trip to Saudi Arabia.

The visit carries significance for the close and longstanding relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The two countries share strong ties based on mutual respect, cooperation and close people-to-people relations.

During his stay in Saudi Arabia, the prime minister is also expected to engage in activities related to bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia maintain strong connections in areas including trade, investment, defence, energy and regional cooperation.

The visit to Masjid-e-Nabawi was also an important spiritual moment for the prime minister and his delegation. His prayers focused on the safety, peace and prosperity of Pakistan and the welfare of its citizens.

The prime minister’s visit highlights the importance Pakistan places on its relationship with Saudi Arabia while also reflecting the deep religious and cultural bonds shared by the people of both countries.
