The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a new patriotic song in the Balochi language titled “Pak Ae Watan” ahead of Pakistan’s Independence Day on 14 August.
Renowned Baloch singer Akhtar Chanal performed the song in his traditional style. The lyrics express deep love for the homeland and present Pakistan as more than just a piece of land. The song says the country is a cherished part of the nation’s identity for which people are ready to make any sacrifice.
ISPR released the track to celebrate national unity, culture and the patriotic spirit through the Balochi language. Officials say it carries a strong message of unity, solidarity and brotherhood across the country.
The song is expected to connect especially with Balochi-speaking communities while adding a regional flavour to this year’s Independence Day celebrations. It highlights Pakistan’s diverse cultural identity and brings people together through music.
As the nation prepares to mark 14 August, “Pak Ae Watan” joins other cultural events and national songs that promote pride and togetherness.
