easypaisa Introduces 2% Service Charge on Bank-to-Wallet Transfers

A new 2% service fee has been implemented by easypaisa for funds transferred from standard bank accounts into its mobile wallet. The amendment went into effect recently and can be found in the company’s most current Schedule of Bank Charges.

The fee applies only when users pull funds into their easypaisa Mobile Account from another bank. Taxes are already included in the 2%. For example, a transfer of Rs 1,000 results in a Rs 20 deduction, so the wallet receives Rs 980 and a transfer of Rs 5,000 results in a Rs 50 deduction, so the wallet receives Rs 4,950. Users who load money through debit or credit cards face a higher 3% charge under the same rules.

This change mainly affects people who often put money into their easypaisa wallet from their bank account to shop or pay bills. Sending money the other way, from the easypaisa wallet back to a bank account, is still free of easypaisa’s own fee. However, a small 1-Link charge may still apply.

Customers should check the exact amount before confirming any transfer so they receive the full amount they need. Users are advised to review the official schedule on the easypaisa website or app for the most current details.
