By up to Rs1.50 per liter, prices reduced by federal Govt. in fuel prices for the next fortnight which will be effective from September 1 to 15.
The current rate of petrol is Rs119.80 and the new rate will be Rs118.30 per litre. Fuel used by agriculture and transport factor known as High-speed Diesel (HSD) will also have price reduction of Rs1.50, it will be sold for Rs115.03 per litre. The prices for kerosene oil and light diesel oil are also reduced, by Rs1.50 and Rs1 respectively, according to official statement.
The notification issued on Tuesday by Finance Division said, “even though there are price fluctuations in petroleum products and a forecasted increase in petrol prices, the govt. has decided to decrease the prices so consumers can have maximum relief.”
