LuckyOne Mall Brings STEM and Creativity to Life

LuckyOne Mall turned its spaces into a hub of discovery and experimentation with Technimation, a nine-day STEM and creativity-focused event held from July 24 to August 1, 2026. More than 1,600 young learners, aged 6 to 18, took part in activities designed to make technology, engineering and problem-solving tangible and engaging.

Rather than simply introducing children to technology, Technimation encouraged them to experience it first-hand. Robotics, Robo Soccer, virtual reality, racing simulations, engineering challenges and creative building activities gave participants opportunities to test ideas, solve problems and learn through doing.

The event brought together partners with expertise across different areas of STEM. Makeistan and Ziauddin School & College led robotics and Robo Soccer activities, introducing participants to coding, logic, teamwork and problem-solving. The NUST Formula Student Team added an automotive engineering dimension through racing simulations and pit-stop experiences, offering young visitors an insight into the world of motorsport and engineering.

The Brick Lab’s LEGO-based challenges transformed engineering and design principles into practical exercises, encouraging participants to build, test and rethink their ideas. Virtual reality experiences added another layer, allowing visitors to explore immersive digital environments and interact with technology in an entirely different way.

At its core, Technimation was about taking STEM beyond the classroom and making it accessible, relevant and enjoyable. Children were encouraged to ask questions, experiment, collaborate and find their own solutions — turning concepts that can often seem complex into experiences they could see, touch and understand.

For LuckyOne Mall, the event was also an extension of its role as a community destination. By creating opportunities that combine learning with entertainment, the Mall continues to broaden the meaning of a family experience beyond shopping.

Technimation demonstrated what can happen when curiosity is given the right platform: children do not just consume technology; they begin to understand it, question it and imagine what they can create with it.
