AION ES Set to Bring an Elevated Sedan Experience to Pakistan

A new electric sedan is preparing to enter Pakistan’s growing EV market, with Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC) set to introduce the AION ES.

Positioned as a D-segment sedan, the AION ES is designed to offer a combination of more space, modern technology and electric mobility. However, what makes it particularly interesting is its positioning as an elevated sedan, a vehicle that aims to bring the comfort and practicality of a traditional sedan together with a more premium and elevated experience.

What Is the AION ES?

The AION ES is an all-electric D-segment sedan from GAC’s AION brand. Its design takes inspiration from the proportions and visual character of a starship, giving the sedan a distinctive appearance that moves beyond conventional three-box styling.

The exterior is defined by a sleek, modern silhouette, while the interior focuses on space, comfort and a modern cabin experience. The emphasis is on creating a sedan that feels more spacious and sophisticated without moving away from the practicality expected from the segment.

Battery, Range and Charging

The AION ES is equipped with a 53.7 kWh battery, offering a claimed range of 442 km under the NEDC cycle and 360 km under WLTP.

The sedan also features Magazine Battery 2.0 technology, GAC’s patented battery technology developed with a focus on safety and durability. The battery is designed to be fire resistant and water resistant, and has undergone gunshot testing as part of its safety development.

For daily usability, the AION ES supports DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 24 minutes. This makes charging convenience an important part of its electric powertrain package.

An Elevated Sedan Option

The AION ES is not simply being positioned as another sedan. Its appeal lies in the idea of an elevated sedan, offering a more refined, spacious and modern driving experience while retaining the familiar proportions and practicality of a sedan.

Its battery safety technology is another important part of the package. With a patented battery system designed to withstand demanding conditions, the AION ES aims to offer a level of safety that can provide greater confidence to EV buyers.

With LMC bringing the model to Pakistan, the AION ES is expected to add a new dimension to the country’s EV landscape. More details regarding its launch, specifications and pricing will determine how it fits into the local market.

The AION ES is set to make its debut in Pakistan soon, and its combination of electric efficiency, starship-inspired styling, spacious interior and advanced battery safety technology makes it a model worth watching.
