US President Donald Trump unexpectedly joined a live interview with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang during the All-In Summit in Los Angeles, turning a technology discussion into a surprise presidential appearance.
Huang placed Trump on speakerphone during the session, giving the president an opportunity to comment on concerns surrounding the rapid development of artificial intelligence.
Trump dismissed fears that increasingly advanced AI systems could eventually take control of the world, describing such warnings as a “hoax.” He also reassured the audience that “the robots will not be taking over.”
