Pakistan has announced the closure of several major motorway routes and interchanges from tomorrow evening, with restrictions expected to affect key travel links around Islamabad and nearby areas.
The M-1 motorway will be closed in both directions between Islamabad Toll Plaza and Chachh Interchange. Several interchanges along the route will also remain closed.
The M-14 motorway will similarly be closed between Hakla and Kundal, with multiple connecting interchanges affected.
The GT Road N-5 will also face a closure at Attock Khurd, adding further restrictions to an important route connecting northern Punjab with other parts of the country.
The closures come after Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi warned PTI against holding another sit-in in Islamabad.
He said the government would enforce the law and take measures to prevent prolonged disruption in the capital and other parts of the country.
Travelers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and check route conditions before leaving.
