Pakistan has received some relief in fuel prices as the government has reduced the price of petrol by Rs. 1.93 per litre.
The new petrol price has been set at Rs. 390.12 per litre, down from the previous rate of Rs. 392.05. The revised prices will take effect from September 24, 2026.
The price of high-speed diesel has also been reduced, providing additional relief to motorists and businesses that depend heavily on diesel for transportation and daily operations.
Diesel has been lowered by Rs. 4.21 per litre, with the revised rate standing at Rs. 414.75 per litre, compared with Rs. 422.08 previously.
The reduction comes as consumers continue to closely monitor fuel prices amid their impact on transportation, goods and household expenses.
The revised rates are applicable nationwide from September 24, 2026, offering a modest decrease in the cost of petrol and diesel.
