Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has praised Traffic Warden Sohail Wazir Dogar for returning a lost bag containing a large amount of cash and important documents to its owner. The warden was appreciated for his honesty and commitment to his duty.
The incident happened during routine patrolling near Timber Market in Lahore. Sohail Dogar found an unattended bag lying on the road and took it into his custody. The bag contained a substantial amount of cash, a driving licence and other important documents.
The warden then worked to find the owner of the bag. He traced the owner, identified as Zain-ul-Abideen, a resident of Begum Kot, and returned the bag along with all its contents.
Sohail Dogar later met Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, who commended him for his actions. She said his honesty and sense of responsibility were worthy of appreciation. The chief minister also said that people performing their duties with honesty and sincerity can contribute to the country’s progress.
