Türkiye and Bangladesh have announced deals to purchase a combined 111 Boeing aircraft, in agreements that US President Donald Trump said would support American exports and jobs. The announcement was made on September 24, 2026, following agreements signed with Turkish Airlines and Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
Turkish Airlines finalized a deal for 100 Boeing 737-8 aircraft, with options to buy another 50 Boeing 737 MAX jets. Boeing said the agreement is the airline’s largest single-aisle order from the company. The aircraft will support the airline’s plans to expand its fleet and international network.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines separately signed an agreement to purchase 11 Boeing aircraft. The order includes five 787-10 Dreamliners and six 737-8 jets. Boeing said the new purchase will add to Biman’s fleet modernization plans and expand its order book.
Trump said the combined deals would generate billions of dollars in US exports and support thousands of American jobs. He also credited US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and the Department of Commerce for supporting the agreements.
