Authorities in Faisalabad have reportedly ordered the closure of bus stands, passenger terminals and hotels ahead of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) march planned for Islamabad on September 27.
According to police sources, hotels located around Faisalabad Railway Station have been closed as part of the security measures. Restaurants and shopkeepers in the surrounding areas have also reportedly been instructed to shut their businesses by this evening.
Passenger terminals and transport stations across the city have reportedly been directed to remain closed until tonight, affecting travel services and commercial activity.
The reported restrictions come as authorities in Punjab and Islamabad increase security preparations ahead of the planned PTI march. Several major routes have already experienced restrictions, while Rangers personnel have been deployed in different areas.
The measures reflect the ongoing security arrangements surrounding the planned protest, with authorities taking steps to manage movement and activity at key transport and commercial locations.
