‘I am Available 24 Hours to Resolve the Problems of the Business Community:’ Mohsin Naqvi

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said he remains available around the clock to address concerns and issues faced by Pakistan’s business community.

Speaking at a ceremony in Lahore, Naqvi stressed the importance of supporting traders and industrialists to strengthen economic activity and create greater opportunities for exports.

He also called for greater promotion of “Made in Pakistan” products, highlighting the role of local production in the country’s economy. According to his remarks, increasing domestic manufacturing could help reduce reliance on imported products while creating more opportunities for Pakistani goods in international markets.

Naqvi further discussed government efforts aimed at facilitating businesspeople and improving their access to services. He said work was underway on business passports, while Pakistani embassies had also been instructed to provide assistance to business representatives travelling and operating abroad.

The minister’s comments come as the government continues to focus on expanding exports and encouraging greater participation from the private sector.

Supporting local businesses and improving access to international markets can provide opportunities for manufacturers, traders and exporters to expand their operations. Greater promotion of locally produced goods can also help Pakistani businesses reach customers in overseas markets.

Naqvi said the government would continue working to address issues faced by the business community and facilitate traders and industrialists.

The measures discussed at the Lahore event reflect the government’s stated focus on improving the business environment, supporting local production and increasing Pakistan’s presence in international markets.
