In 2039, There Will be Two Hajj Seasons and Three Eids within Same Year

The year 2039 is expected to be unusual for Muslims as the Gregorian calendar could contain two Hajj seasons and three Eid celebrations. This happens because the Islamic calendar follows the lunar cycle and is around 10 to 11 days shorter than the Gregorian year.

According to projected Islamic calendar dates, Hajj is expected to take place in January 2039, with Arafat Day falling on January 4 and Eid ul Adha on January 5. The second Hajj season is expected near the end of the same year, with Arafat Day around December 25 and Eid ul Adha on December 26.

Between these two Hajj seasons, Muslims are expected to observe Ramadan in September, followed by Eid ul Fitr around October 19. This means Eid ul Adha would be observed twice, while Eid ul Fitr would occur once, resulting in three Eids during the same Gregorian year.
