Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has urged officials to work continuously and deliver visible results, saying the province must show major progress within three months.
Speaking at a meeting of the provincial apex committee on October 12, 2026, Kundi stressed that improving security and restoring peace must remain the main priorities. He said the government could not ignore the worsening law and order situation.
The governor called for close cooperation between the federal and provincial governments and security agencies. He also linked peace with economic growth, saying businesses would operate more confidently and investment could increase when security improves.
Kundi said the administration needed to achieve in three months what the province had not accomplished over the previous 13 years. He stressed that officials must prove their performance through practical results rather than promises.
His remarks come amid growing security concerns in KP and political tensions surrounding the provincial government. The governor’s message placed pressure on officials to improve security and public services within a short period.
The meeting focused on a coordinated response to terrorism and efforts to restore stability across the province.
