Pakistan’s First-Ever Giraffe Café to Open Soon at Lahore Safari Park

Pakistan’s first giraffe café has been established at Lahore Safari Park, giving visitors a chance to enjoy refreshments while getting closer to one of the world’s tallest land animals.

The new café is part of the ongoing renovation and improvement work at the park. Preparations are currently underway to make the facility ready for visitors, with its public opening expected soon.

The attraction will allow guests to sit near giraffes while enjoying tea or coffee. Visitors will also be able to feed the animals by hand, providing a closer and more interactive wildlife experience.

Lahore Safari Park currently has 10 giraffes, including two males and eight females. The animals were brought from South Africa in September 2025 as part of efforts to expand the park’s wildlife collection.

The introduction of the giraffe café adds a different experience to the park’s existing attractions. Instead of simply viewing the animals from a distance, visitors will have an opportunity to observe them from a closer setting while spending time at the café.

The facility is expected to attract families, children and wildlife enthusiasts looking for new recreational activities in Lahore. It could also provide an opportunity for visitors to learn more about giraffes and wildlife conservation while enjoying their visit.

The development comes as Lahore Safari Park undergoes renovation work aimed at improving its facilities and visitor experience. New attractions and upgraded spaces are being introduced as part of the broader project.

With the giraffe population already established at the park, the new café is expected to become one of its distinctive attractions once it opens. Visitors will be able to enjoy refreshments, observe the giraffes and, under the facility’s arrangements, interact with the animals through supervised feeding.

The opening date has not yet been announced, but preparations are continuing at the site. The new attraction is expected to offer visitors a different way to experience wildlife in Lahore.
