Dar-e-Nijaat to Become Pakistan’s Most-Viewed Drama? 1.7 Billion+ Views in Just 23 Episodes

ARY Digital’s Dar-e-Nijaat has crossed 1.7 billion views across social media and digital platforms after just 23 episodes, according to an official update from ARY Plus.

The drama, written by Umera Ahmed and directed by Saqib Khan, premiered on 1 August 2026. It airs on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm on ARY Digital. Sheheryar Munawar plays Abu Bakar, a principled university professor, while Dur-e-Fishan Saleem stars as Zaryab. Nameer Nawaz Khan appears as Zamil. Supporting roles include Sania Saeed, Saba Hamid and others.

The story follows Zaryab after a painful betrayal by her childhood friend and love interest. She later builds a relationship with the spiritually grounded Abu Bakar. Themes of faith, heartbreak, family secrets and redemption have drawn strong interest from viewers in Pakistan and abroad.

Early episodes drew high YouTube numbers, with the first episode alone surpassing 30 million views. Later episodes shifted primarily to the ARY Plus platform for local audiences. The drama has also posted strong television ratings, at times ranking among the top shows of 2026.

While long-running hits such as Tere Bin hold higher all-time totals accumulated over years, Dar-e-Nijaat’s rapid rise in only 23 episodes marks it as one of the biggest digital successes of the current season. New episodes continue to air, and audiences are still following the story of Abu Bakar and Zaryab.
