Prime Minister Imran Khan chose to meet on Wednesday (morrow) with the T20 World Cup National Team to reinforce players’ confidence after the last-minute tour of the New Zealand Team over security reasons was cancelled.
The arrangements for the meeting between the Premier and Pakistan’s T20 group have been concluded according to sources. The inspiration and instructions for the players are likely to be provided by Imran Khan.
The meeting would be attended, on the other hand, by Ramiz Raja, President of PCB, and other top board executives. Previously today, Fawad Chauhdry, Minister of Information, warned that Pakistan will seek lawyers to take action against cricket bodies in England and New Zealand after they have caught tours costing millions of rupees to Pakistan TV (PTV).
