Sarfaraz Ahmed, the former captain of Pakistan’s national team, has achieved a significant milestone in his career, overtaking Shoaib Malik and Misbahul Haq to become the most successful skipper in the history of Twenty20 cricket for Pakistan.
Sarfaraz Ahmed was able to accomplish this after claiming yet another victory in the National Twenty20 Championship. Sindh is now in first place in the table following the conclusion of the first leg of the campaign, having won four of its six games.
A win rate of 61.4 percent has been achieved by the 34-year-old in just 140 matches as captain, resulting in 86 victories. He has surpassed Shoaib Malik, a veteran of the Twenty20 format, who has captained 85 victories with various teams during his career.
It is worth noting that Pakistan won 11 straight Twenty20 International series under Sarfaraz Ahmed’s captaincy, which remains a world record to this day.
