To provide quality healthcare to passengers in the provincial metropolis, the Transport Department has allotted Rs498 million to develop 200 bus stop shelters, as well as transit monitoring and a schedule system.
On Monday, a departmental spokeswoman claimed that Rs25 million had been set aside for the current fiscal year. He went on to say that the agency was working on improving the infrastructure at bus stops to make it easier for passengers, particularly women, the aged, and people with disabilities, to get to their destinations.
