Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has received new redistribution capability (NDC) level-4 certification from the International Air Transport Association (IATA). PIA has been received the highest degree of certification.
According to a news release released by PIA, the national flag carrier recently launched a Digital Restructuring Exercise, which aims to modernise its business operations, resource competence, technological upgrading, and partner partnerships in accordance with new industry norms and practises.
Through distribution channels, the airline will be able to better engage, communicate, and exchange rich material with industry partners as a result of the accreditation.
The accreditation will not only help PIA raise its transmission quality to the next level, but it will also promote better servic, travel agents, and industry partners while advancing PIA’s digital transformation, according to the press release.
PIA CEO Air Marshal Arshad Malik praised the airline’s Digital Technologies (IT) and Commercial departments, as well as HITIT Computer Networks, the airline’s railway transport system (PSS) provider.
