Prime Minister Imran Khan has reaffirmed his commitment to uphold the rule of law in Pakistan, saying he will fight for it “till his last breath” to bring strong and corrupt individuals accountable.
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed the Rahmatul lil Aalameen Conference in Islamabad, vowing to transform the country into a Madina-style welfare state to ensure merit and the supremacy of law in society.
“The state of Madina’s system was based on justice and merit,” he said. “Even a general was promoted to a higher rank based on performance.”
“By following the guiding principles of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), we can flourish as a nation,” he added.
In response to the country’s economic troubles, Prime Minister Imran Khan stated that 9 million Pakistanis residing abroad have money, but they do not invest in Pakistan because of the country’s dysfunctional and corrupt system.
“We will get rid of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) if a few thousand Pakistanis from abroad invest in Pakistan.”
