Auto financing in Pakistan set a new high in September, with total bank-facilitated loans for autos reaching Rs338 billion, up 45.5 percent from the same period the previous year.
Last month, banking institutions granted Rs232 billion in auto finance to purchasers, which is 45.5 percent less than this year.
The Rs338 billion figures represent the total amount of vehicle loan provided by Pakistani banks in September. These figures are up 3.8 percent over the previous month, August 2021, when the country’s total vehicle financing was Rs326 billion.
