According to sources, Pakistan’s first green hydrogen plant would be built in Sindh, with a capacity of producing 150,000kg of fuel per day. Naheed Memon, the Chief Executive Officer of UK-listed Oracle Power Public Ltd, and Power China International’s Chief Representative in Pakistan signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the development of Pakistan’s first green hydrogen project.
According to reliable sources, Energy Minister Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh and Consul General of China in Karachi Li Bijian were present at the MoU signing event for the 400MW project, which took place at the provincial energy department.
