In Pakistan, recently freelance earnings increased by 21.37 percent in the first quarter of fiscal year 2021-22, rising from $87.247 million to $105.895 million, compared to the first quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Moreover, freelancers’ IT export remittances accounted for 16.68 percent of overall ICT export remittances of $635.010 million in the first quarter of fiscal year 2021-22.
The profits earned to Information Technology (IT) related services accounted for $81.523 million of the total amount made through freelance labour, with non-IT earnings worth $24.373 million.
