Reliance within six months to implant an E-commerce app into WhatsApp

Reliance Industries by Mukesh Ambani is planning to implant its e-commerce app named JioMart into the WhatsApp within the upcoming six months, as per the recent reports the Indian conglomerate also looks towards ramping up its retail and the grocery business within the country.

Reliance Industries Limited that has continuously been trying just to move away from the energy business and mainstay oil had raised around $26 billion last year from their investors like the giant Google and also from Facebook just for its retail and digital arms as it also takes on another market giant Amazon.com Inc and the Walmart-backed Flipkart in the country.

This move to integrate the app JioMart with another app WhatsApp will surely allow hundreds of millions of their users to easily order products from the Reliance without leaving the app; however, Mint also said, citing these two officials are surely aware of the growth and development.

Meanwhile, WhatsApp has around 400 million of its users in a single country, India. Last year Facebook had also invested around $ 5.7 Billion that is for up to 9.99 percent of stake equity in the Jio’s Platforms.

Last year JioMart was launched in the month of ‘May’ with a plan to be operational in 200 cities of India. The venture of the e-commerce that is this Reliance arm of retail also offers the free express service of the grocery delivery that is quick as well as easy and the delivery is from the neighborhood stores mom-and-pop.
