Prime Minister Imran Khan said the previous governments had seriously ignored South Punjab. He talked to South Punjab National Assembly (NA) representatives who called PM Imran Khan in Islamabad and addressed various issues.
“In the past, South Punjab has been denied basic facilities such as education and health,” the premier said, adding that recommendations are being finalized for the farmers’ special package.
In the meantime, the premier ensured that the people of South Punjab would not be left alone.
In August last year, Prime Minister Imran Khan agreed to provide farmers with the maximum value of crops by increasing support prices for wheat growers.
