Pakistani content creators came together to celebrate the unbanning of TikTok and reminded users to be more thoughtful of what they post on the app. All of them urged fellow TikTokers to post content more responsibly.
TikTok had launched a campaign titled #AapSafetoAppSafe and safety policies earlier this year, asking users to follow its Community Guidelines while posting the content.
Pakistani content creators are also a part of the billion active users’ family that the platform enjoys globally. In order to keep its platform safe for everyone, TikTok has time and again urged its users to be responsible while posting content.
Top content creators like Hareem Rashid, The Amjad Twins, Issa Haque, Happy Singh and many other expressed their excitement over TikTok being accessible again in Pakistan. All of them did so in their own unique ways, using the hashtag #TikTokisLove
Singer Hareem Rashid, with 1.7 million followers on TikTok, said the platform is home to all types of content, be it comedy, music, or beauty tips; users can find everything on TikTok. However, she also asked users to post content in a responsible manner.
The Amjad Twins, with over 83,000 followers, often post content related to entertainment, tricks, tips, fun activities and memes. They insisted on keeping the cultural and religious values in mind while making content.
Singer Sahar SD highlighted the impact of the platform, saying the response the content creators get on TikTok is unmatchable. According to her, even with little following they [content creators] are able to get their content pushed across to a larger audience.
Issa Haque, popularly known as Issa Hawk on TikTok, has 2.4 million followers. He said all types of content, ranging from entertainment to education, can be found on the platform. He also shared a glimpse of his content on a wide range of topics.
Happy Singh, a shopkeeper in the northern areas of Pakistan, recently crossed the one million subscribers’ benchmark. Expressing his excitement at the prospect of using the app again in the country, he said that people could get entertainment and educational videos on TikTok at the same time.
Millions of other users expressed joy on regaining the access to TikTok along with the aforementioned content creators. The hashtag #TikTokisLove has already got nearly four billion views.
