Maulana Tariq Jameel, a well-known Islamic scholar, met Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday and praised the latter’s initiative for character-building among the country’s youth.
According to local media reports, the premier and a Deoband scholar addressed the importance of the Rehmatullil Alameen Authority and Riyasat-e-Madina in influencing the lives of youth.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister stated that we can only advance as a nation if we follow the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH, while a member of the Tablighi Jamaat praised the Prime Minister’s efforts to implement the Riyasat-e-Madina welfare model in Pakistan.
He also underlined the need of youth character development in light of the Prophet’s teachings.
