Among the world’s 30 largest consumer markets, Asian countries are predicted to have the fastest growing consumer class. A group of people who spend more than $11 per day is referred to as the consumer class. Asia now accounts for 55 percent of the global consumer class.
According to estimates published by the Brookings Institution, Pakistan would add about 60 million individuals to the consumer class by 2030, propelling the country up seven ranks in the ranking of the world’s largest consumer markets.
Pakistan is expected to add 56 million more consumers by 2030, bringing the total to 121 million. This means that, for the first time in Pakistan’s history, every other Pakistani will be allowed to spend money in 2030.
