Pakistani Hunter ‘Hisham Khan’ Hunts Himalayan Ibex by paying Rs. 1.36 Million

Hunter Hisham Khan paid the second-highest permission cost of Rs1,360,000 to hunt Himalayan Ibex at the Passu Community Controlled Conservation Area in Gojal, Hunza.

The costliest permit for a Himalayan Ibex, auctioned for Khunjerab Villagers Organization, was Rs 3,000,000.

Khan’s Blue Sheep and Himalayan Ibex, which he hunted in Gojal, Hunza, have received international recognition.

Hisham Khan praised the community’s efforts to protect animals through the trophy hunting programme.

He said his initial plan was to hunt a monster ibex in Batura Valley in order to beat his personal record of 53 inches Himalayan Ibex hunted in Passu in 2016.
