Multan Sultans skipper Muhammad Rizwan has recently become the first Pakistani player to complete two 100-run partnerships in a single T20 inning.
Rizwan, a great starting player for the Pakistan squad, set the record in a match against Lahore Qalanders, in the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore .
The 29-year-old batsman and his opening partner Shan Masood scored 119 runs off 72 balls, before adding another 103 runs off 39 balls with Rilee Rossouw.
This was the first time a player completed two century partnerships in the PSL’s history. However, it was also the 12th time in the T20 format overall.
Before Rizwan, only eight batsmen from around the world had achieved the title of playing two century partnerships in a single T20 inning.
