The Israeli navy stated that it took part in a US-led drill alongside Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and other nations that do not have diplomatic connections with Israel.
According to the US Navy, more than 9,000 people from 60 militaries participated in the International Maritime Exercise (IMX), which began on January 31.
Participants included Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, the Comoros, Djibouti, Somalia, and Yemen, all of which have no diplomatic connections with Israel.
Several countries with which Israel has lately normalised relations, such the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, also took part. Bahrain is a strong US ally and home to the US Navy’s 5th Fleet.
