Waqar Younis, Wasim Akram’s former teammate, praised the decision made by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) a day after Wasim Akram was formally admitted into the Hall of Fame. Younis praised Akram’s accomplishment in a tweet, writing, “Heroes come and go, but Legends last forever.”
Younis and Akram were one of the most lethal bowling duos in the 1990s. The pair were known for their rapid deliveries and were among the few bowlers who mastered the reverse swing.
Akram was eager to respond to Younis’ kind comments, and in his response, he thanked the former Pakistani for assisting him on the other end.
