The Pakistani Embassy in Ukraine has safely evacuated 1,476 Pakistanis after working around the clock for nine days to provide safe passage to stranded nationals and students from several important cities following the flare-up of the Russian-Ukraine war.
The embassy said in a tweet on Saturday that 9 nationalities were on their way, and that it was working nonstop to evacuate the other 37.
“The Pakistani Embassy in Ukraine worked around the clock for 9 days and securely evacuated 1476 Pakistanis.” “9 are on their way, working with all parties to evacuate the remaining 37 trapped in various cities,” it stated in a tweet.
“The Pakistan Embassy in Ukraine continues to provide all services from Tarnopil,” it said in a statement.
