Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Monday that Pakistan was still a cheaper place to live than many nations, recalling the actions taken by his government to guide the country out of the ongoing inflationary wave.
He made this statement during a ceremony in Islamabad to launch the Ehsaas Riayat Rashan Program.
Despite their oil riches, the prime minister stated that fuel and diesel rates in Pakistan were still lower than in Dubai and the UAE.
“I guarantee my nation that as long as you continue to pay taxes, we will continue to expand the scope of social programmes for the people,” he stated.
