The federal government intends cultural displays at airports to encourage the cultures of all provinces. At the aviation division, a meeting was held under the Chairman of the secretary aviation division to discuss the ideas to promote tourism through Aviation.
Representatives from tourism departments of all provincial governments and airline representatives attended the meeting. Different options, including artwork and display of culture, at airports, were discussed during the meeting.
The Secretary of Aviation stated that Pakistan could make tourism a multi-billion-dollar industry, during the meeting. Pakistan is blessed with historical and religious sites and beautiful tourists as well. Adequate promotion of historical, cultural, and religious sites should be done. The Ministry of Aviation and Civil Aviation Authority said that they are ready to help and support all departments willing to work to promote tourism in the country.
The meeting was informed that to support and assist the national and foreign tourists, counters have been established at various airports.
