Apple has recently launched a new replacement program for battery of Macbook Pros 2016 and 2017 that will also not charge past one percent. However, according to Apple, this issue affects very less number of their customers.
If the battery of your Macbook Pros got affected, you will see a message as “Service Recommended” while checking the health status of your battery.
However, Apple further says that if the status specify that the battery is normal, then surely your battery of MacBook Pro is affected with this issue.

According to Apple, they will first examine the Mac on prior basis as for servicing the battery and they will also verify as if it is eligible for the free replacement of battery.
