The Karachi Traffic Police Department has announced the commencement of a free automobile maintenance service for Karachi residents.
The city’s traffic police have taken this action to help the public and preserve the movement of traffic throughout the rainy season.
In Pakistan, the rainy season has begun. Due to the bad traffic conditions in the city throughout this rainy season, individuals may have difficulty travelling.
During such a trying period, the police have come up to offer free automobile maintenance services for the inhabitants’ comfort, ensuring a free flow of traffic all around Karachi. Â
As per the recent report, Deputy Director General (DIG) Ahmad Nawaz has spoken to the press about the change and reported it.
The service has dispatched 26 police vehicles all over the city, each equipped with basic vehicle maintenance equipment.
Until then, these traffic cop cars have been placed along key highways and other sites. The unique police cars will be equipped with a range of conventional auto repair services.
Fixing punctured tyres, re-inflating deflated tyres, towing a vehicle, jump-starting a car, and automotive smoke alarms are all included.
They offer refuelling services for automobiles and motorcycles that have run out of gas and will be unable to reach the nearest gas station.
The police vehicle will also perform some basic vehicle maintenance. Â
