Recently, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and admired the Irani support to Islamabad on the Kashmir issue.
Sharif and Raisi exchanged Eid greetings and share their views on both country’s matters, confirmed by state broadcaster
Sharing views on the importance of historic bonding between two countries. They were known as a state which run business even in restricted period, said by PM. Remembering history and mutual understanding.
He also restated the Pakistan’s strong devotion to boost ties with Iran in all sectors of mutual cooperation, including trade, energy, electricity and people-to-people contact.
Furthermore, the early conveying of a joint economic commission leads to strengthen economy, PM conveyed.
He further stated that border transportation markets along the Pakistan-Iran frontiers will be operational soon.
Shehbaz Sharif also thanked the Ebrahim Raisi for providing timely support and lending IL-76 aircraft to Pakistan for extinguishing forest fires in Balochistan.
Irani President thanked PM, Shehbaz for his Eid felicitations and gave surety of Iranian cooperation for further intensifying bilateral trade, specifically with regard to provide electricity to Balochistan’s Makran division.
