Being a writer, He wrote movies like Karachi We Lahore and made his directorial debut with Koyal. He worked great in the theatre too.
Yasir don’t want to play the same role again and again that’s why he haven’t been seen in a lot of drama serials. He like to do different characters whether audience like it or not. He is interested in different roles like one in the Baandi and the other one he’s playing now as Peer Qaisar in Badshah Begum.

He shared his thoughts that Asif Ali Zardari is an interesting person and he could do a good job playing his role in a movie.
