Askari Bank Signs MoU with Pakistan Freelancer Association

Memorandum of Understanding has been signed by an Askari Bank with an association with Pakistan Freelancers Asso­ciation (PAFLA) having an objective to digitally facilitate and onboard the unbanked segment of free­lancing individuals and startups through the Askari Freelancer Digital Account.

Askari Bank’s prudent partnership with PAFLA would offer programmes on mentorship, seminars, webinars, conferences, professional training events and certification courses on financial literacy. While, Askari Bank has an aim to manage and fulfill all the banking needs of freelancers all over the Pakistan.

Ms Amina Bilal, Head Digital Sales, AKBL and Mr Tufail Ahmed Khan, CEO, PAFLA signed the MoU. Also present were Mr Shehryar Ali Shah, Chief Digital Officer, AKBL, Mr Ibrahim Amin, Co-founder and EVP, PAFLA, Mr Haroon Q Raja, Co-founder and SVP, Ms Dua Sukhera, Head South Punjab, and other senior officials from both organisations.

To facilitate the growth of the thriving commu­nity of freelancers and startups is the main objective of the partnership.
