A report has been shared on the railway systems of Central Asian countries including Pakistan by Asian Development Bank.
According to study report, in Pakistan 23% of railway engines and 24% of rail wagons are proclaimed useless.
Central region country’s railways including Pakistan are facing financial losses and Asian Development Bank has suggested 6 policy reforms to enhance the railway systems in region.
Operational program of the Central Asia Regional could make the railways stable in terms of finance, However, it would help to enhance the regional development and improve the quality of life of the people, as per Asian Development Bank.
