A disheartening news for Team Blue fans, the ace fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah has been eliminated from coming T20 World Cup 2022 because of back injury, a reason that kept him out from West Indies tour and the Asia Cup 2022 as well.
Bumrah cameback into team India T20 series but played only 2 matches and got a wicket only.
Although Bumrah was included in 3 T20I matches against South Africa, was not picked in the XI for the first match in Trivandrum after he complained of back pain.
However, he was not able to travel with team India to Thiruvananthapuram for the series opener against SA.
Furthermore, it has been confirmed by Jasprit Bumrah is suffering from back stress fracture due to which he would not be a part of remaining SA T20I and has been excluded from T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.
