Umar Gul Shows Interest to Coach Pakistan Cricket Team

Umar Gul, a former fast bowler for Pakistan, has expressed interest in the role of bowling coach for the national cricket team.

Gul stated that he is available if the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) needs his services in an exclusive interview with Express News on Monday.

Gul declared that it was an honor to work with the national squad. “I always wanted to work for my team as a coach when I retired from international cricket, but PCB never approached me.”

Shaun Tait, whose contract with PCB expires on February 9, is the current bowling coach, and Gul is seen as a strong contender to take his place.

The former bowler was employed by the Afghanistan cricket team, but on December 31 of last year, his contract with the neighbouring board came to an end.
